I am really burnt out on my current job and am actively seeking new employment (I have been on a few interviews recently, am currently still sending out resumes, etc). I have heard in the past that it’s a really bad idea to quit your current job while hunting because it looks bad to future employers. I know I will be quitting the job within this year since I am relocating with my significant other to the Washington DC area, and I was wondering if there is any hiring managers, recruiters, HR managers, etc. who could chime in on the subject. Is it best to keep working at a job where I feel burnt out or better to quit, recharge, and devote myself to the job hunt (also meaning that I would be free to interview and such whenever instead of having to work around a work schedule).
